Using Advanced Tools
Besides the COAS graphical utilities presented so far in this chapter, Linux
includes many other utilities that you can use to explore and manage your net-
working connections.
Many of these tools are command line utilities that are not as easy to use as the
COAS interface. Part of using these command line utilities is knowing where net-
working information is stored on your system.
The lisa utility
You can use the lisa utility to manage your network connections from a charac-
ter-based command line. Enter the command lisa, then from the LISA screen
select System Configuration to reach the Network Configuration selection shown
in Figure 63.
